the cruel world

as she closes her eyes and rests her weary head on a pillow soft as a cloud she tries to for get her suffering
just hoping, that her subconscious can take away her pain...
just for a little while...
that's all she can possibly hope for after all that she has done and all that has happened...
all she wanted was a little peace, freedom from her own mind and all that surrounds her...
but sadly she'll never get her peace of mind...
this world is a cruel place...
eventually it stomps out the life of even the strongest of hearts until there is nothing left...
and that dear reader is the sad truth
