Fading
I thought of you
as I fell.
You were with me –
past stars and planets
and galactic dust.

and your smile
that makes me say
“I love you.”

as clouds surrounded us,
your hand left mine
and your smile,
that turns my heart
into a puddle,

and turned to a look
so vicious and evil
my blood began to curdle.
I tried to get away,
but you followed,
persistant,
through sky
and trees
back to reality
to haunt my life.
“I hate you.”
