Missing you
I miss you and your sweet smile
My god it’s been awhile
It’s for the better, but feels the worst.
The pain and sorrow will not end tomorrow
Awhile till the pain ends
Awhile till I can smile again
Through the pain and the tears I find strength to move through the days
By hiding the pain, I seem all right
Yet the more I cry inside
I miss you and your company
Alone forever or until I move on
I gave you my best; you gave me your worst
I treated you the best; you killed me with words
I try to help you heal your wounds, hate that I tried
It’s time to say good-bye, yet I would like to just say hi
For better or worse
We weren’t married but it felt just like hell
To say good bye
I miss you and your sweet smile
