Twilight's Peak

The night does reach for the sun at twilight’s peak,
A burst of colour before the bleak,
And then the fluorescence begin to dull,
To the stars of light and the moon that lulls.
The incandescence shall always fade,
But sparks are eternal in twilight’s shade.
