“Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.”
~ Maria Robinson

Its frozen through-out
A heartless beast
Unwanted by all
Hated by most
It starts as calm water
Then turns to frigid ice
It goes from gentle care
To hateful despair
You can never explain
The feeling you have
When you walk on thin ice
You can never explain
The feeling you have
When you speak to me
You can never explain
A horrible life
I wanted to speak
My words full of love
But my heart is cold
I start out calm
And transform to hate
I start out nice
And transform to mean
I have no heart
As ice does too
I wish I could stop
And start over again
Let my life begin
Before it ends
Let my life begin
Before it is bent
