Like an image,
Worn, frayed,
Tattered,
There you are,
Living in my minds attic.
A box,
In the corner,
Barely seen behind the dust.
You are there,

Like a teddy,
From a younger year,
Importance fades,
Significance lost,
There you are,
Living in my mind’s closet.
Pushed,
Out of the way,
Forgotten.
You are there,
