True Beauty
You can be pretty and witty
but that doesn’t mean your beautiful
True beauty doesn’t come quickly
True beauty isn’t usual.
It’s not being ritzy or skimpy or skinny.
It comes from the heart.
It’s not about how much money you have
or how full you can get your shopping cart.
It’s not about how tall you are or if you have strong calves
True beauty comes in all shapes and sizes
Look inside yourself instead of in a mirror
Life is full of surprises
You don’t need makeup or glitter
to be who you are.
You don’t need to be pretty or witty
to feel beautiful. Some one will love you for who you are
Now they may not come quickly,
Don’t search near and far
it will find you wherever you are
