She lives surrounded by family
But feel so alone
In a place so filled yet she feels empty
She walks beside them
But goes unknown
She is there but looks invisible
Noticed but not understood
Cared for but not loved
In a place so filled yet she feels empty
She hears the sound of laughter
But she goes unhappy
Never does she laugh
She walks beside them
But goes unknown
She never bothers to mention she’s there
When left alone one hears her weeps
She hides her tears with a plain face
To go unseen, unknown, invisible
