I guffaw at the gaffe
That life’s like a laugh
So serene and still
Until a ripple makes a wake
Life isn’t easy
Life isn’t hard
It’s somewhere in between
The middle and the medium
I throw up my arms
Wander around
Searching for the meaning
The hidden sounds
Around and around
Always spinning
Wondering when
Life will extend
Change and prosper
Into a wonderful mound
I guffaw at the gaffe
