I was lost,
Without grace
Searching for love in a different place
I was hopeless,
Deep in debt
I turned toward a world full of hate and regret
I was wounded,
Bleeding inside
Living a life full of hidden lies
He went searching,
Looking for me
Despite what I had done He wanted me free
He was nailed,
Forced on a cross
Because of my sin he took a loss
He was killed,
His life for mine
Leaving me with no trace of a fine
He found me
Longing for love,
He gave me life from above
Now I’m His
Living for Him,
I no longer reside in sin
