Now I see the secret of the making of the best persons. It is to grow in the open air and to eat and sleep with the earth.

Don’t judge a book by its cover

You never know what’s inside

Don’t judge a book by its cover

You never know what secrets it might hide

There might be knights and dragons
and maybe a princess or two
Or maybe some hidden magic
just between the characters and you

The animals and flowers could tell you things
that only the king once knew
You could fly amongst the birds where the wind once blew

So don’t judge a book by its cover
You never know what you will get
Don’t judge a book by its cover
You’ll love all the wonders you’ve met.

I have always loved poetry and I feel like everybody including me has judged and object or a person because of their outside appearance. I feel like this poem shows others what they might be missing if they judge negatively.
