You know you and me
We aren’t a we
You are just you and I am just me
But if one day I should say
I want us to be a we
Would you be oaky with you not being you
And me not being me
Instead of two separate people we would be an us
You would be you
I would be me
But even more simply
You and me would be
You with me, me with you
Could you find it in you to try and be a we with me
For however long it may be
Until one day if we could not be and we had to go back
To just you and just me
