The Girl in the Mirror

The girl that everyone thinks that they know and understand
But really is a shy person
She knows that she is not perfect
Some people may think that she is too quiet
But those are the people that don’t know her.
The way her face lights up when she sees someone she cares about,
Those are the people that know her best
The girl behind the mirror doesn’t like to be judged
The mirror is a place where she embraces herself
To show herself that she doesn’t care what people think
The girl behind that mirror is me.
