I’m longing to be a good writer
Like the ones that I tend to read
I’m longing for the skills they have
I wish they could pass on to me
I’m longing for my vocabulary
To be as broad as the seven seas
I’m longing to find the right words
So that with my work, people will read
I’m longing to be a good writer
Longing, longing, longing
