Sailor, how the frothy waves
Reduce soon to but ocean spray
Ninety yards sha'n't soak your head,
Though tickle they a grin

Sailors!--Oh, how many drown
In the fog of puddles slim
Plunge hands into the shallow murk,
And shave will it the wrists
