No longer a stranger

This plant a big ball of fluff
Lifted up from the barren ground
Breaking apart as we try to run
Its fragments falling behind me
As it withers away to a bare bud
The fragments grow immensely
Forming a field of yellow flowers
Later transforming into soft cotton balls
No longer a stranger
In this land of dandelions
