Beauty, sing me a lullaby
but may I never sleep:
let me stay here ever
within your keep

Weave me a story
with the heroes of old
a tale of lost legends
that none have told

Rock my gently
as I lay my head down
you, oh great king,
to never wear a crown

Remind me of everything
those lives you have seen
have birthed, raised, and nourished
with a hand gentle and keen

Serenade me softly
as my eyes begin to close
sing of your beauty
as I forget my woes.
