You know when you have to do something,


but you are completely dreading it?

That is how I was just weeks ago.

A church retreat, for the weekend.


No connection to the outside world

It a time of reflection, it was my Antioch weekend



My thoughts about it, were negative

I wanted to be anywhere, but there

I judged it before I knew.




But there we all had our own epiphanies.

We heard peoples background

We did activities, we heard music

But most of all we learned to trust

We connected to a group of people,


out of the ordinary

There, I gained an Antioch family
