I thought that it would be easier-
Me without you-
But I soon realized
That this was quickly proven to be untrue
Where did you go?
Why aren’t you here?
You are not gone
But you are not near
The world is so different now
But I know that it is just because
We are not meant to be
No, not us
My heart would sing when I was with you
But now you are with her
And I, with him
It is not the same
I know that you waited
But I never came
I thought that it would be easier
But that is a cruel, cruel joke
That wasn’t true
I cannot stand this-
Me without you
