As I look at you breathing
Slowly,
Every rise and fall of your chest
I prayed.

As we give each other our vows of love
For the last time,
Every time you hold your hand in mine
I cried.
…
As we reminisce our memories
Together,
Every time you say, “Remember the time…”
I smiled.
…
As we say our last goodbyes,
I love you’s
Every caress meant so much to us
I felt it.
…
As you take, perhaps, your last breathe
I kissed you.
I’m not in myself anymore,
I am with you and you with me.
