it takes no time to fall in love (found poem)

two submerged in contradictions
yes
no
maybe?
there are no words to paraphrase.
in another malleable reality
they'd fly like birds
not of this earth
not separated
no
not by miles
or disfigured hearts.
it's a mess,
yes
a beautiful mess
their tangled fingertips,
the interwoven streets they take
until it rains,
the bus arrives
and she leaves, singing
"don't let me let you go."
