I lie awake,
Thinking to myself,
What can I do?
Thoughts rush through my mind—
Emotions pour out of me
But I know deep down I must stay strong.
Stay strong for myself.
I sit in this corner and think.
Don’t look down on me,
Don’t judge me-
I am who I am-
I’ll be who I want to be.
When you stare,
When you scream,
When you talk to me,
Do you see that you are driving me
Insane?
I’d rather feel pain than nothing.
Leave me be.
Before I break.
