If you don't mind
I'd like to take all the sunshine
Every single last ray
Bottle it up and store it away
I want to fall into a cloud
Millions & millions of miles from the ground
Cross a rainbow bridge
maybe we could hold hands for a bit
we'll hum songs of love
as we jump from the skies above
sprout wings and feathers
and we'll fly everywhere as long as we're together
let's skim the water far below
till gills and a tail grows
fins will replace our wings
and we'll plunge into the deep
splash through sun soaked sea
and forget everything that we used to be
we'll create waves just me and you
swimming along in the vast ocean blue
Then we'll wash up on a sandy beach shore
standing up on four legs covered in fur
we'll run through the numberless trees
ears to a point and paws becoming our feet
Lets nuzzle our noses
and follow wherever the wind goes
Let our hearts be exposed as instinct takes over
because there's so much more horizon to explore
Howl in full voice to the full moon
It'll be time to close our eyes soon
wake up to a warm bed
our feathers, scales and fur all shed
your arms close around me
safe and sound as we should be
looking through our window of perspective
we'll remember and become reflective
of our many adventures through other eyes
and to those bodies we say our goodbyes

The author's comments:
I thought about people loving each other in every form, unconditionally, and with no end. The thought of loving someone through another creatures eyes made me think in a whole new perspective and the shape of love came to be.
