Trying to Escape

Walking
Jogging
Sprinting
Trying to get away
Trying to stop the inevitable
Its chasing after me
Closing the space between us
Its right behind me
I feel its presence
I try to go faster
but I can't push myself anymore
My hair whips in the wind
The grass flowing past me as I run my fastest past it to get to a safe place
but there is no safe place....not anymore
It will be able to find me anywhere
I can't hide
Outrun
or forget about the thing thats after me
I cannot run away from this feeling
This feeling of love
