Remember
I am young
And free
Swept up in the
Love
Of his arms
He twirls me
Around
And sweeps me up
And sends me into the atmosphere
Carefree
With every lie
Covered
With
Sweetness
Only sending me
Back to earth
To break
And die
And feel everything
Shatter
And to see my end
A train wreck
Under the grey skies
With a red due
That haunts me
With a bleak
Wicked
Sense of humor
I hope he is happy
I hope he remembers
I hope he sees
that I am
Getting back up
And masking
The frowns
And broken heart
That pores out
The red
Now stained black
With hate
And regret
I hope he remembers
I am better
That the signs say
With every sigh
I remember
My worth
And I climb up the ladder
To break him down with me
So we can be miserable
Together
Under the grey skies
