In Memory of the Good Times
These harsh memories are now my reality
As one day I knew they would consume
This darkness is overwhelming
But I knew my heart would begin to bleed
There's no way of telling who I am anymore
When all I feel is dark and cold
Like death this too shall pass
Among those lost I cry
These tear I shed are dead and gone
With the hope of being myself again,
I put on a smile that masks my pain
Something went wrong along the way
and so now I'll never catch my breath
Until then, I bury my happiness deep within
Hoping to retrieve them once again.
