Of a Spring Night

A moonbeam a-lites on your feathery breath,
While the wind whispers arcane musings,
A mellow aroma pervades the cool air,
As the night flowers blossom,
The dusk is graced with a lavender veil,
An oceany blackness has cooled the fiery sky-line,
Into a velvety darkness,
Plunging your perception into shadow,
Casting your thoughts adrift in a sea of stars,
As silence rings through the night.
