As I lay dying,
Life takes its sweet time
Slipping away.
I will be remembered,
If only through these poems.

I didn't last forever,
And neither will you.
I've shown you something to ponder,
Now my life's complete.

I read another poem on this site that really got me thinking, and this poem was born from my tangled mass of thoughts.
