Her Home
Bright spotlights illuminate her.
Warm beams hit her skin.
The music starts.
She can feel her heart,
Pound.
She steps on her toe and then leaps.
The adrenalin rush hits her deep.
Sweat pours from her like
Rain.
Round and round the stage she goes.
The music stops.
She knows she’s home.
The curtain closes.
She grins and then falls,
Now it’s time to say good buy,
She walks off stage and just starts to cry.
