Love Ghost

You came in a heartbeat,
And slowly left me…

Summer left and the winter cold came,
But my heart’s rage remained the same…
Not even the hollering rain,
Could defeat the flame deep in my veins…

I lost my heart to a ghost,
For you took it with my most…
I never knew how your beauty was gold,
For your heart was dead cold…

I opened up my eyes…

The fierce echoes in my heart,
Tear my universe apart…
You glow like a star,
But not in the dark…

The sky cried enough to drown me,
I must’ve stumbled across your beauty…
If I could accept reality,
I’d be gone already…

After you left…

The flowers grew without color,
Not even my thoughts had power…
Your kisses became bitter sour,
I guess my love had already been devoured…

Falling was a mistake,
But I kept you for my heart’s sake…
Now that I’m finally awake,
I see a slithering snake…

Butterflies fly…

But in your scent they fall,
And in your eyes I lost it all…
As much as I crawl,
I will never escape what I saw…

A princess morphed into a crow,
And I stayed to watch it grow…
My hands use to glow,
But now they burn to what I know…

I must forget…

For it’s the end of the road,
Alongside all the lies you told…
I’ve grown old,
Of the remorse I hold…

I lost my heart to a ghost,
I must’ve closed my eyes…
You came wrapped in lies,
With a heart that divides…
