The time has come to say goodbye
To a person we all love and miss
Though it is hard, life will go on
We will see him again when we ascend into Heaven
We know he is up in Heaven
Looking down and shining a smile
Even though he is gone
He is still with us in our hearts

The author's comments:
What inspired me to write this was the death of my uncle. His death was hard on me so I got inspired by memories of him to write a poem about him.
