A family of birds
The higher they fly,
The more years go by.
The more they fail,
The more they'll cry.
Keep them close till their on their own,
Raise them, hold them, till they go on alone.
They learn as they grow,
Things they need to know.
You'll always know whats best,
But when they leave the nest,
You've taught them all you can.
But we'll always be there.
With story's to share.
And this family of birds,
With little to no words,
To describe what we've became?
But thanks to you,
We've finally flown,
Into the bright blue sky.
But always remember,
And never forget.
That you taught us to fly.
