Death of a loyalist soldier
Robert Capa
took this photo
and
named it
the death of a loyalist soldier.
A man
with a gun
falling
and
falling.
Shot
at his chest
I wonder
how that feels.
His arms
spread wide
kind of reminds me
of a pair of wings
that belongs to an angel.
His holds his gun
that had taken lives,
and his face,
is still and emotionless.
His eyes are shut,
he can only see
darkness.
That field,
that was once green
will soon be anointed
with that soldier’s crimson blood.
He fought
and fought
for his country.
so brave,
oh how I wish,
I was brave
like him.
Soldiers
dying
and dying
day by day,
at least they pass away
proudly
helping our country.
