"All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible"

I am nothing but an island
Shrouded by mist
Waves crash against my rocky shore
But they always retreat
Eventually
I am nothing but an island
Shrouded by myths
And legends
So no one dares come near
I am nothing but an island
And my fate will be that of an island
Eventually worn away
By the waves that crash into my rocky shore
Eroded away
Little by little
I was once an island
Always yearning to be a peninsula
I am still an island
I am nothing but an island
