You see her there,
Picking flower in a warm summer dress,
Living each day,
As if it were her last.
Experiencing the warm sunshine
On her skin.
She is life!
She feels joy, pain, love, and laughter.
She is caring and giving,
And sweet as can be.
YET…
He sits there…
Lurking…
Watching…
Tell he gets the chance.
The chance to make her
Still…
Cold…
And feel no more.
He is dark,
Cold,
And still…
As one can be.
He is death.
