All I Know

I want some kind of...

Hope.

Just a small glimpse to know

That maybe I will be okay in life.

Maybe I will actually go somewhere.

I want...

I don't know what I want.

I'm not even 15 years old yet.

What's the point in trying to sort out the things

I only superficially "want"

When in a few years,

All of that will change.

I know I want love.

And I know that I have it.

And I know that I want it to last.

Maybe it will,

Maybe it won't.

Who knows?

And who's to say that I need to know.

I don't.

I need to trust that

God will never give me anything I can't handle.

And that He'll take care of me.

I want to help people.

I doubt that that will ever change.

I want to take away some of people's pain.

Make it easier for them to bear.

If I could take it all on myself,

I would.

But I can't.

So, maybe I can help a little bit by

Offering hope to someone else.

Helping them to know,

That they WILL go somewhere in life.

They're important.

Their pain is not in vain.

And I know that I don't want anyone to EVER

In a million,

Heck,

Over nine thousand years,

Go what I've gone through

Or worse.

I know that.

And I suppose that's all I really need to know right now.

I liked this. I don't know how I would fix it, since I'm not exactly a poetry expert, but I thought you did a really good job. Your words are really clear and concise, and I like that in poetry. Great job! :)
