Stand

You can stand tall,
In the dark and loathsome night.
You can stand tall,
No matter how hard the plight.

In a deep and dreadful mire,
Against foes of dark desire,
You can fill your soul with fire,
And stand tall.

You can stand firm,
Against the most fearsome wave,
You can stand firm,
Against a blackening plague.

In the fearsome winds of doubt,
Against the fury of a drought,
Just continue on your route,
And stand firm.

In bringing about the light,
In fighting with all the brave,
In showing a way of right,
You must stand, a land to save.

This is describing how even against the fears and doubts that the world might bring, we can and must stand for what we believe in.
