Questions of Life
I
Stationed on the meadow,
Playing,
No qualms,
No twinges,
No fright,
Just verve,
Vim,
And plain delight.
Is a child’s life.
II
What’s life?
What’s fun?
What’s wholesome, what’s sprite?
What is God?
III
What has become of our profound humanity?
These queries no youngster would ask of!
What is the truth?
Is there such thing as this I thou converse of?
IIII
Questions, Questions,
But no answers.
I ask and ask,
The more questions,
The fewer the answers.
But there are no suggestions,
No comments,
No answers,
To these questions.
I believe this is the proper definition of an adult!
