Escaping Reality
Tonight is the night we run away.
Shadows of our bodies across the dark night sky.
The morning light making my skin look an iridescent tone of blue.
Breathe me in; take me as a whole.
I want to be yours.
A soft kiss means more than epidermal contact,
More than an adrenaline-type burst of hormones.
Holding your hand,
Driving into the unknown,
Looking into your face,
And knowing, but only one thing-
This is love.
