My mind
Remembering what I did to you
So I lay on my bed
Broken, beaten, and scarred

The author's comments:
A friend broke up with her ex boyfriend a few weeks ago. Today when she was over at my place she was telling me that she felt bad about breaking up with him. Then this poem just came to me. I know that it sounds emo but she is actually scene.
