To speak of yesterday
With a voice of worry,
Would make me a prisoner
Of my own words.
Rob me of joy,
But heal my heart.

The universe is too vast,
For just you and I.
Warm words like poison
Surround me in a pool of lies.
Fish me out
So I can see the truth.
