The brown eyes that craved for your mesmerizing glance,
Lamented when you departed giving them no chance,
The pulchritudinous lips that rejoiced in bliss,
Impoverished without the taste of a passionate kiss,
The soft whispers that lingered all night in my ears,
Bemoaned as the words sounded different to hear,
The deceptive mind buried deep in chimerical dreams,
Terrified from awakening like seeing a phantom scream,
The whimsical soul that played the guitar of love,
Broken as the frivolous strings lay smashed and shoved,
The million nights of solitude and silent tears,
Like a bloody river filled with muck and mires,
Is this the punishment that I deserve?
