Running in the Rain

Racing, running, pounding,
Slap, slap of bare feet, crashing through puddles,
Panting, freezing, skin slick, hair drenched,
Heart pounding, silence colliding.
Drip, drip, rain blanketing down,
Arms raised in triumphant victory dance,
Stopping, bowing, kneeling,
Laughing through ragged breaths
And the thunderous roar of our
Defeated silver enemy, quiets in the air.

Cool. I like this very much. I am kind of a runner too. You captured what it is really like to do that. It is kind of an enlightening process to do that if you get what I mean
