There Up in the sky

A shooting star

Let's make a wish

I wish I was A beautiful star

Shining with all my might

Looking down at the world at night

Guiding you with my light

You look out your window

Knowing everything will be alright

You could be a star just like me

All you have to do is be yourself with courage and pride

Soon you look like the stars that shine in the night sky

The author's comments:
I wrote this piece when I wanted to be like everyone else. I didn't want to single myself out and have everyone notice me. Now I don't care how many weird looks I get form people I still just be me and don't try and impress anyone. People can love me for me or not at all.
