It’s not to be
It was never meant to be
It was just supposed to
be a friendship
I was never meant to like
you the way I do now
It was never meant to be
It was your eyes, your beautiful
mixed green and hazel eyes, which had a twinkle in them
It was the way your jokes
made the day
But it was never meant to be
It was your bright white smile that
brought joy to my day
It was just the thought of you,
that made me think, wow,
its really, you
But it was never meant to be
because you already have
someone special
but it will always be clear to me that I’m the
one who notices the most
special things about, you
