Imperfections
I have my imperfections
Sometimes, some days I don’t look good
Sometimes I’m depressed and I can’t help it
I mess up and say things I don’t mean
I miss match my socks
Because I’m different
I’m quick to judge
But I don’t mean to be
Sometimes I don’t match
Sometimes I screw up
Most days my hair doesn’t look the way I want it to
My makeup smudges
And my nails break
I make mistakes
But my imperfections make me who I am
And maybe just maybe
I like my imperfections
