In the ground there stands,
A single flower,
Deprived of rain,
Still braving the heat,
Still believing it will come,
The life-giving moisture,
But it never will come,
Because it lives in the Desert,
Where no other flowers grow,
This flower just won't die,
To bright and to brilliant,
To die.
This bright flower,
Is Me.
