Early in the morning, when the world was sweet
From the stroking night rains, I often felt
A blue-green mare of a feeling snuffling about
In the corners of my soul, eating my
Clover clever thoughts, until I was
Desert-barren, only bearing the
Prickly nostalgia for home.
As a last result, it ate that too.
