Younge Mother

You became mommy at the age of seventeen
When people found out they started to be mean
People called you names like whore and slut
So hide in your room with everything shut
You’re hopeless and clueless for what’s in store
All the labor and crying that you’ll have to endure
Maybe you’ll be lucky and get help from young daddy
Mood swings will come and you’ll always be crabby
All the foods you will crave most likely a pickle
But remember you’ll have to save every last nickel
The journey ahead of you will be rough indeed
You have to give in to the baby’s last need
Take lots of pictures for memory and proof
That what you endured was not just a goof
Being a good mother will be very hard
But the angles in heaven are ready to guard
You’ll never let anything happen to your child
O great it’s a boy which means he’ll be wild
