It pours out of her like a river,
the words across the page,
the characters come out,
but her hearts stuck in a cage.
She writes day and night,
no matter how they tease her,
and she keeps on writing,
knowing they wont release her.
She creates and builds her world,
where she is the hero and saves the day,
but when she lives her life,
those feelings wont convey.
Her best friends are Max and Carter,
the dragon-fighters in her tale,
and even than she cries at night,
but leaves not a trail.
Because in the real world,
where evil wins over good,
the big bad wolf,
gets little red riding hood.
And in her mind she's a princess,
never seeing a knight,
and in real life,
shes in the corner,
cowering in fright.
She searches beyond the tower,
and she's always awake to look,
but than she wakes up,
and its just her and her book.
